never have to go to school ever again you say?!

last night i played in the snow until 2 in the morning and today i slept, watched a movie, snow shoed to the grocery store, made biscotti and read. being stuck inside is like a forced vacation and I am kinda in love

working on playing catch up with school will start tomorrow

also my parents come into town tomorrow to see the show i designed and haven't seen myself since saturday and have no time to change anything i see that goes wrong but whatevs i am not stressing and my parents will still love it even if it looks crazy so we're good!

this week marks week one of carmen's 1.5 quarter's of being a normal college student with only classes and work to worry about and it is looking pretty sweet!!!

snowmygod its a blizzaster

i am not good at snow days :

depaul has cancelled all school classes and events starting today tuesday at 1pm and wed.

however i am good at blaming the snow for not letting me get shit done like not being able to pick up things for my show or not letting be able to get to joanns to pick up things to make those earrings i have been wanting to make or not letting me grocery shop. however i do have yardage of fabric to block print and costume renderings and groundplan drafting to do so this is probably a blessing in disguise but as of now it just feels like cabin fever.

it also kinda eerily feels like karma and mother nature are giving me back the weekend that tech weekend for my show took away:)

things are looking up

i am in a great mood most of the time which is new as i have been in mostly a shitty mood most of the time for a while now. but as i have learned about myself ridiculous amounts of stress in my life lead to being over prepared for things and now that my show is in tech i am good i have time to do what i want which has so far been getting wasted and not sleeping and sitting in a coffee shop and reading :) luvin life luvin friends luvin feeling like i have no resposibility at least for a little while
